Bloomberg have published the 2023 Gender-Equality Index (GEI). The Bloomberg GEI, which is updated yearly, helps bring transparency to gender-related practices and policies at publicly listed companies around the world, increasing the breadth and depth of ESG data available to the investor community.
The Bloomberg GEI recognizes organizations for their commitment to gender equality in the workplace. This year, 484 organizations around the world have been included in the 2023 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index. It is encouraging to see an increase in the number of publicly listed organizations disclosing data and information on their leadership and talent pipeline, equal pay and gender pay parity, inclusive culture, anti-sexual harassment policies, and external brand.
