S&P Global Special Editorial “The Path to Gender Parity”

S&P Global has published a special editorial titled “The Path to Gender Parity”. According to S&P Global data, women hold only a small fraction of total CEO roles across regions and sectors. The data shows that only 4.4% of the more than 5,400 companies assessed had a woman CEO, with the utilities sector having the highest percentage of women CEOs at 10.6%.

The special editorial also addresses regional and sectoral trends in the percentage of women in management and outlines the troubling challenge of an insufficient talent pipeline to close the gender gap at executive management level.
