Capgemini attains global EDGE Move Recertification and EDGEplus

Capgemini has been globally recertified at the EDGE Move level, advancing from its previous EDGE Assess Certification and reaffirming its strong commitment to gender equity. Additionally, Capgemini has also received EDGEplus Recertification demonstrating the Group’s commitment to analyzing intersectional equity, considering diversity in nationality, ethnicity, LGBTQ+, age, and people with disabilities.

Ten Capgemini entities in 10 countries (Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Morocco, Poland, Netherlands, UK, and US) were assessed and certified according to the EDGE and EDGEplus Standards. All 10 countries, accounting for over 80% of the Group’s global workforce, have achieved EDGE Move and EDGEplus Certifications, enabling the Group to achieve global EDGE Move and EDGEplus Certifications.

Capgemini is the first organization in the tech industry to have both EDGE Move and EDGEplus Certifications at the global level, demonstrating its leadership in workplace diversity and inclusion.

Capgemini is setting a new standard with its recent advancements in diversity and inclusion. They stand out as the sole company in their industry to achieve EDGE Move Certification at the global level. Moreover, Capgemini uniquely combines this with EDGEplus Certification. This dual achievement highlights their extraordinary commitment to enhancing gender equality and intersectional equity in the workplace. It serves as a testament to the transformative impact of dedicated D&I initiatives in shaping a more inclusive business landscape,” said Aniela Unguresan, Founder and Member of the EDGE Certified Foundation Board.

The EDGE Certification process entails a comprehensive analysis of an organization’s data, internal policies, practices, and employee experiences. By drawing from multiple sources of information, it provides a holistic view of gender and intersectional equity, allowing for an accurate assessment of both effectiveness and impact. This approach enables the certifying organization to identify gaps and design tailored solutions to address them.

A huge congratulations to Capgemini for its continued progress in building a truly inclusive workplace.
