The Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) tracks the financial performance of public companies committed to disclosing their efforts to support gender equality through policy development, representation, and transparency. EDGE Certification is one of the scoring criteria included in the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index.
It is very encouraging to see the increase in the number of publicly listed companies disclosing data and information relating to five key pillars: female leadership and talent pipeline, equal pay and gender pay parity, inclusive culture, anti-sexual harassment policies, and pro-women brand. Disclosing data for the GEI is an excellent opportunity for companies to drive progress on gender equity in the workplace.
