United Nations Population Fund – UNFPA is recertified at the EDGE Move level. Achieving EDGE Move Recertification is a significant milestone for UNFPA and reflects its sustained efforts towards advancing workplace gender equity. This certification is a testament to its comprehensive approach towards assessing and addressing barriers to gender balance and equity across the organization.
In addition to achieving EDGE Move Recertification, UNFPA also attained EDGEplus Recertification. Continuing its commitment to assessing the intersectionality between gender and other aspects of diversity, UNFPA has deepened its EDGEplus analysis by assessing data and information from three sources of information. UNFPA monitors employee experience from an intersectional perspective of gender, gender identity, LGBTQ+, race/ethnicity, age, working with a disability, and nationality. In addition, the organization monitors its policies and practices and statistics from an intersectional perspective of gender, age, and race/ethnicity. By achieving EDGEplus Recertification, UNFPA has further solidified its commitment to assessing intersectional equity.
We congratulate UNFPA for its EDGE Move and EDGEplus Certifications, and for its continued dedication to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace.
