About the role

We are looking for an exceptional Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to join our executive team and help drive the organization’s ambitious growth plan.

The role focuses on:

  • Strategic planning, revenue generation, marketing, branding and partnerships.
  • Executing the current strategic plan together with other members of the executive team, focusing specifically on implementing the sales model, expanding EDGE to new client segments, sectors and markets, supporting ongoing product development and strengthening operations.

The specific objectives:

  • Manages a global sales team to drive business growth across all client segments, sectors, markets and profiles; sharing accountability with the branding team and Head of Product function for improving the individual client experience.
  • Monitors the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth and accurate revenue projections.
  • Builds and fosters a creative sales team committed to continuing our culture of high-performance innovation.
  • Helps to maximize reach and efficiency by adding new, scalable commercial partners in a strategic way.


The responsibilities:

  • Sets the strategic direction on sales planning.
  • Owns accountability for global revenue and delivers on ambitious sales targets to create value and deliver impact (through new business sales, recurring sales and enlargement of scope for existing clients).
  • Is globally responsible for ensuring the performance, strategy and alignment of the organization’s revenue-generating teams.
  • Oversees client contract negotiations.
  • Monitors the marketplace and analyses current and upcoming opportunities, including the provision of tailored competitive analysis, strategies and tactics.
  • Maintains a close relationship with clients and commercial partners to ensure broad market needs are being effectively incorporated into the product development and enhancement cycle.
  • Collaborates with other executives on messaging, pricing strategies and business models to achieve revenue goals.
  • Provides robust and substantiated input to marketing and communications planning.


What you should have:

  • Proven experience and ability in innovating and driving strategic market penetration, account success and top-line revenue growth, bringing 7+ years professional experience as a builder and/or leader of high performing sales teams.
  • Significant P&L responsibility experience.
  • Strong technical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, experience with digital marketing tools would be a definite plus.
  • Proven track record of growing revenue through new product development, marketing, branding and partnerships.
  • Proven experience developing and successfully executing business strategies.
  • History of sound decision-making based on business metrics.
  • Inspirational leadership style coupled with a hands-on approach to daily work.
  • A team player with the desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A keen interest in topics at the intersection of business and society.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
