About the role

We are looking for a young professional or student to join our team on an initial short-term basis and support the organization’s communications and social media activities and initiatives. The intern will work closely with both the client advisory team and the senior management.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily management of the EDGE social media accounts (Linked In, twitter)
  • Write engaging posts and ensure regular updates on social media
  • Review social media analytics to support further expansion and brand awareness
  • Work with client advisers to promote internal and external communications related to EDGE certified organizations
  • Support research on specific themes relating to gender and diverse workplaces
  • Develop a range of collaterals, such as client literature, press releases, interview briefing sheets and EDGE website content to support internal and external communication

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public or Media Relations or a similar subject
  • Proficiency in the use of online communications and social media platforms and their monitoring tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in written and spoken English
  • Ability to work effectively and independently
  • Full proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Fluency in English, additional languages, notably German, French and Spanish would be a plus
