Your Impact:

The person in this role will lead the sales and business development process for the US market in partnership with the US CEO.  The goal for this position is to build a revenue stream and robust pipeline of potential clients to embark on the journey to EDGE Certification. You will manage the complete end to end sales-cycles, often presenting to C-level executives. You will formulate and execute a sales strategy for the Americas.

The Job:

Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads and close revenue for EDGE Americas
  • Partner with leadership in the Americas to execute business development and sales strategy while assisting in expansion of the client pipeline
  • Provide support to senior management in overall business planning and business strategy
  • Proactively maintain a network of relevant professionals for EDGE and connect with diverse stakeholders to promote and build awareness of the EDGE brand, with an emphasis on underrepresented communities
  • Effectively coordinate sales presentations and opportunities with client advisers and other EDGE team members where necessary
  • Continuously seek to improve the overall value proposition of EDGE Certification to the client
  • Manage pipeline of current clients approaching window for recertification

  • Achieve sales targets for the Americas
  • Number of new clients contracted
  • Efficient, accurate and high-quality project delivery
  • Client satisfaction / Net Promoter Score
  • Client retention rate 

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Masters of Business Administration (preferred but not required)
  • Minimum 2-4 years experience in professional service sales preferably with technology or financial services sales background
  • Proven experience in defining and delivering sales strategies
  • Ability to manage time and resources, and pay attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills
  • Good administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive at building relationships, self-starter, entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment, and learn and apply new skills in the context of a fast-paced organizational agenda and ambitious organizational objectives
  • Strong understanding of sustainability topics and what gender equality in the workplace means in this context
  • Strong data analysis skills
