WHAT THIS POSITION OFFERS YOU

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our Product team to keep our software being an easy-to-use digital product in a fast-paced environment. Reporting directly to the Head of Product, you will be responsible for creating user journeys, research customer problems, gathering user requirements, wireframing user interfaces and designing graphic elements.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and conceptualize UI/UX design strategies for the brand by using high-quality UX designs using wireframes, flow diagrams, graphic and visual design, sitemaps, prototypes, and storyboards
  • Ensure launches of new product features are having a positive impact on user experience
  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product head
  • Utilize the insights as inputs for their design decisions
  • Run analytics on questionnaire responses, field studies, interviews, etc. responsibility for finding out ways to understand the users
  • Design the user experience and interface keeping the user needs in mind
  • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets
  • Build page navigation buttons and search fields
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
  • Collaborate with the sales & marketing and CX teams to make sure that tailor-made content is being created and delivered to the digital users
  • Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images

Skills and Experience WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
  • Established portfolio of design projects
  • Good knowledge of tools and frameworks such as Sketch, InVision, HTML, Visio, iOS, Android, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.
  • Capacity to think structurally and ability to thrive under pressure within tight deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently
  • Good project-management and time-management skills
  • For this position we can only accept Swiss, EU/EFTA applicants or applicants with a valid Swiss work permit
