Investing in Women is an initiative of the Australian Government to catalyze inclusive economic growth and poverty reduction in South East Asia, launched in 2016. As a champion for women and girls, Investing in Women was established to improve women’s economic participation as employees and entrepreneurs, build markets for women and influence the private and public sector environment to promote women’s economic empowerment in the Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar and Indonesia.

Investing in Women achieves these goals through innovative approaches in three main areas – Workplace Gender Equality (WGE), Impact Investment for Women’s SMEs and Influencing Gender Norms.
